Welcome to Breastfeeding Unlimited. By booking a consultation, course, or support service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About the Services
1.1 Breastfeeding Unlimited provides services including:
1.2 Services may be delivered in person (home visits or group classes) or virtually via video consultation or telephone/text/WhatsApp, depending on the service booked.
1.3 All advice and guidance is evidence-informed and personalised to the information provided by you.
1.4 Services are provided in a non-medical capacityunless specifically within IBCLC scope of practice. I do not provide medical diagnoses, prescriptions, or clinical treatment. You should consult your GP, midwife, health visitor, or other healthcare professional for medical concerns.
2. Booking, Payment and Pricing
2.1 Bookings are accepted via website form, email, phone or WhatsApp. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
2.2 Prices are as advertised on the website or confirmed in writing. Travel and overtime fees may apply (see clause 7).
2.3 Invoices are payable immediately unless agreed otherwise. Late payments may attract reasonable admin fees and interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts legislation (if applicable).
3. Consumer Cancellation Rights (Distance Contracts)
3.1 If you are booking as a consumer remotely (online, email or phone), you have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
3.2 If you request that services begin within the 14-day cancellation period and later cancel, you will be responsible for payment for any services already provided.
3.3 If a service is fully completed within the 14-day period at your request, your right to cancel is lost.
3.4 To cancel, please contact breastfeedingunlimited@gmail.com with your name and booking details.
4. Rescheduling & Provider Cancellations
4.1 Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule an appointment.
4.2 Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a late cancellation fee.
4.3 If I need to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered either:
5. Scope of Practice & Client Responsibilities
5.1 Support and advice are provided within the professional scope of IBCLC practice, postnatal doula care, and holistic sleep coaching.
5.2 Outcomes cannot be guaranteed due to the individual nature of babies, families, feeding relationships, and sleep patterns.
5.3 You are responsible for:
5.4 Safeguarding: If there are concerns regarding the safety or well-being of a child or vulnerable person, I may be required to share information with relevant authorities in accordance with safeguarding responsibilities and UK law.
6. Records, Privacy and Confidentiality
6.1 Records of consultations may be kept in accordance with professional standards.
6.2 Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and UK data protection legislation (UK GDPR).
6.3 Information will only be shared with other professionals with your consent, or where required by law.
7. Travel & Additional Fees
7.1 Home visits may include a travel fee depending on distance from my base location. Any applicable travel fees will be confirmed before booking.
7.2 Extended consultations that run significantly beyond the scheduled time may incur an additional charge.
7.3 Urgent or same-day appointments may be subject to an additional urgent appointment fee, which will always be confirmed with you before booking. Where a consultation is requested at short notice (same-day) or outside of standard working hours, an urgent appointment fee of £30 will apply in addition to the consultation fee. This fee reflects the need to rearrange existing commitments and provide support at short notice or out of hours. The urgent appointment fee will be confirmed with you prior to booking.
7.4 Any additional equipment or testing requested by you will be quoted and agreed in advance (if applicable).
8. Virtual Consultations
8.1 For virtual consultations, you are responsible for ensuring:
8.2 If a virtual consultation is not suitable for the issue being discussed, I may recommend arranging an in-person appointment.
9. Baby Massage Classes and Workshops
9.1 Developmental baby massage classes and workshops are designed for educational purposes and to support bonding, relaxation and development.
9.2 Parents or caregivers remain fully responsible for their child at all times during classes.
9.3 Participation is voluntary, and you should only perform massage techniques within your baby’s comfort and tolerance.
9.4 If your baby has a medical condition, please consult your healthcare provider before attending.
9.5 Course places are limited and generally non-refundable once the course has started, though missed sessions may sometimes be made up at a future class where possible.
10. Sleep Coaching Support
10.1 Sleep coaching support is responsive, holistic, and family-centred and does not involve behavioural sleep training methods that ignore a child’s needs.
10.2 Recommendations are based on developmental expectations, family circumstances, and the information provided by you.
10.3 Progress may vary depending on the individual child and family context.
11. Messaging Support
11.1 Where messaging support (e.g. WhatsApp/text or email) is included with a package, this is intended for brief updates, clarification, and support related to your consultation or plan.
11.2 Messaging support does not replace a consultation and may not be suitable for complex or new concerns.
11.3 Messages are typically answered during working hours, and responses are usually provided within 24 hours.
11.4 Messaging support is not suitable for emergencies.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 Any materials provided (including sleep plans, handouts, course materials, or resources) are for your personal use only.
12.2 These materials may not be copied, distributed, or shared publicly without permission.
13. Liability
13.1 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
13.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Breastfeeding Unlimited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the services.
14. Force Majeure
14.1 Services may be affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control (such as illness, extreme weather, transport disruption, or technology failure). Where possible, appointments will be rearranged or refunded as appropriate.
15. Complaints
15.1 If you have any concerns about the services provided, please contact breastfeedingunlimited@gmail.com
15.2 Complaints will be acknowledged within 3 working days, and I aim to resolve them within 28 days where possible
16. Changes to Terms
16.1 These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. The version published on the website at the time of booking will apply to your service.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
