Lactation Consultant
During a typical consultation I will take the time to hear about your full clinical history including your birth, debrief on your breastfeeding journey and observe a feed. We can work to improve any latch issues and fomulate a plan for moving forward.
I also have extensive experience with tongue tie and support the running of an NHS tongue tie clinic. I can examine the oral cavity and explore further support if we suspect a tongue tie.
My experience is that feeding journeys are often a work in progress, and my visit may not be an instant fix which is why I offer ongoing practical and emotional support for two weeks or more after my visit at no extra cost.

If you find that you need further support after an initial consultation, or a new challenge has arisen.
I will follow up with consultation notes and a plan if needed to move forward. You can contact me via email/ WhatsApp for 2 weeks after this consultation for further support.
