I am passionate about supporting families as they settle into life with their new baby. I know those early days can feel both beautiful and overwhelming — full of love, change, and a lot of learning.
I provide practical, emotional, and nurturing support tailored to your family’s needs. Whether it’s helping with newborn care, guiding you through feeding and sleep routines, offering reassurance, or simply creating space for you to rest, my goal is to walk alongside you so you can enjoy these precious early moments.
My qualification as a lactation consultant is a gentle but essential part of the support I offer as a postnatal doula. Feeding your baby—whether through breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or a combination of both—is such an intimate and emotional part of early parenthood. With my lactation expertise, I offer calm, caring support to help you feel steadier and more confident as you move through feeding and early parenthood.
I’m there with practical guidance, but also with presence — supporting both you and your baby during those early, often tender days.
Every family is different, so I meet you where you’re at. That might look like talking things through, helping out around the house, supporting you with newborn care, or simply giving you the space to rest and breathe.
My hope is that you feel grounded, supported, and truly held as you find your way through those first weeks.

Feeding is a journey that unfolds gradually, and consistent guidance from an experienced professional—beyond a single visit—can make a world of difference in helping you feel supported and confident during those early weeks.
I offer gentle, practical antenatal sessions to help you feel calm, informed, and confident before your baby arrives. Together, we explore feeding, rest, recovery, and what to expect in those early days—so you step into parenthood feeling prepared, supported, and reassured.
I help with everyday tasks like meal prep, tidying, and caring for your newborn, so you can rest, recover, and spend more precious time bonding with your baby.
I can also help with older siblings and accompany you on your first outings or to appointments
I am trained in communication and listening skills so can offer heartfelt emotional support, holding space for your feelings, helping you process the changes of parenthood, and reminding you that you are not alone.
Using my training in mindfulness, I also help you stay present, reduce stress, and find calm amidst the demands of caring for a newborn
I will hold your baby so you can sleep
I will prepare nourishing meals for you
I will ensure you are comfortable and assist you in your recovery from birth
I am happy to offer a massage to relieve neck and shoulder pain
There’s so much we can explore together, including sleep cues, the Fourth Trimester, safe co-sleeping, sleep-wake cycles, infant feeding, the infant microbiome, soothing techniques, normal infant behaviour, developmental milestones, and overall child development.

Hazel was sympathetic and caring. She researched various issues I had and provided lots of information and strategies to help solvemys issues and make my life easier. She was always on hand to talk through issues and I felt like she genuinely had my best interests at heart. It was clear Hazel was beginning her doula journey and taking lots of courses to hone up on specialist areas. She often did extra work to better support me in very specific areas which I appreciated.
